About
Nimoy Burrowes
Jamaican full-stack developer. I've been shipping backend systems, mobile apps and chatbots since 2013, across finance, media, edtech and creator tools. These days I lead data infrastructure and reporting at one of Jamaica's leading financial services groups.
I grew up in Wakefield, St Catherine and studied Computer Science at UWI Mona. Between 2013 and 2019 I worked backend across media and edtech: chatbots at Panmedia, then CTO at PEP Tutor (built on Node.js with Dialogflow and Google Assistant), and CTO at DJ Pull Up. Since 2019 I've been on the data side, moving from Senior Developer to Manager of Data Infrastructure & Reporting.
The domain keeps changing. The job itself never really does.
